If you believe, like we do, that the problem posed by the looming national debt is one calling for action, here are two chances to get more involved: the National Town Meeting, coming up on June 26, and a panel discussion in Washington, on June 30.
A new report on work and education underscores a key irony in higher education: too many students have trouble getting the degree they'll need for jobs in the future because they're too busy working at the job they have now.
Frankly I am really dissapointed with the current educational system as it's highly unequitable. Having a college degree has become to be just a formality, it doesn't matter what you know or you don't know and I can't accept this ufair reality, I rather have a fake degree instead of wasting my time in college.
