World leaders flatly admitted this weekend what everyone pretty much knew: there won't be a major deal on climate change at the big conference in Copenhagen next month. Instead, leaders will try to keep the process going, in hopes of coming up with a deal next year.

Alex Trilling

Alex Trilling manages the administrative, personnel, and financial aspects of the organization. He is also Executive Assistant to the President, a position he has held since joining Public Agenda as a temp in 1994.

Prior to his tenure at Public Agenda, Mr. Trilling worked in a wide spectrum of fields. He was in the hospitality industry for a decade, working as a manger at gourmet restaurants in the Boston area and luxury hotels in Dallas and Vail. He has also worked in the motion picture and television industries as a story editor and as a film and television critic. He has also been a trucker, cab driver, and copywriter.

Mr. Trilling served in the Peace Corps as a cultural officer and writer in the West African republic of The Gambia. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
